This GCSE specification in all language subjects will enable candidates to understand and use the languages for a variety of purposes and audiences. Pupils will develop language learning skills. Pupils will develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in an integrated manner.
The qualification is made up of 4 units; Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Each unit is worth 25%. All exams take place at the end of year 11. The focus is on learning the language, learning about the culture in French speaking countries and using transactional language. Learning takes
