Welcome to our school!

My name is Mrs N Morgans and I am the Head of Year 7. I am delighted to welcome all of our new pupils joining us from Year 6 in September. Starting secondary school is an exciting step, and we are very much looking forward to getting to know each of you. You will find that our school is a friendly and supportive place where you will have the chance to make new friends, discover new subjects, and develop your confidence and independence. Our staff and current students are here to help you settle in and feel part of the community from your very first day. We can’t wait to see all the great things you will achieve as you begin your journey in Year 7. We are looking forward to seeing you in September.

Fy enw i yw Mrs N Morgans ac rwy’n Bennaeth Blwyddyn 7. Rwy’n falch iawn o groesawu ein holl ddisgyblion newydd sy’n ymuno â ni o Flwyddyn 6 ym mis Medi. Mae dechrau’r ysgol uwchradd yn gam cyffrous, ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen yn fawr at ddod i’ch adnabod chi i gyd. Fe welwch fod ein hysgol yn lle cyfeillgar a chefnogol lle bydd gennych gyfle i wneud ffrindiau newydd, darganfod pynciau newydd, a datblygu eich hyder a’ch annibyniaeth. Mae ein staff a’n disgyblion presennol yma i’ch helpu i ymgartrefu a theimlo’n rhan o’r gymuned o’ch diwrnod cyntaf. Allwn ni ddim aros i weld yr holl bethau gwych y byddwch yn eu cyflawni wrth i chi ddechrau eich taith ym Mlwyddyn 7. Rydym yn edrych ymlaen at eich gweld ym mis Medi.

GWYL Y DAFFODIL

As part of the 'Gwyl y Daffodil' celebrations, the Art Department have been working on a collaborative project with our Key Stage 3 pupils and prospective Year 6 pupils from our 10 feeder schools. Over the last few months as well as during our annual Open Evening, each pupil was asked to draw something they felt reflected Wales and our rich culture. These drawings were then carefully placed together to produce the image of a daffodil in bloom. Well done to all that were involved, we are very proud of the outcome! Ardderchog!
